Last time versus Chicago...The Wizards fell to the Chicago Bulls, 78-64, on January 11th in Chicago... The Wizards set a franchise low with 64 points...Jordan Crawford scored 14 points in 19:44 minutes of play off of the bench...John Wall had 11 points, eight rebounds and five assists...JaVale McGee scored 10 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and blocked five shots...Trevor Booker scored eight points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
JaVale McGee has two games with at least 22 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks this season. McGee is the only NBA player to record this numbers in the same game at least once this season.
McGee has blocked at least four shots in three consecutive games for the second time in his career. McGee accomplished this feat for the first time from March 14-18 of 2011.
John Wall is averaging 18.7 points, 7.6 assists, 6.7 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.2 blocks in 11 home games this season. -Andray Blatche is four points shy of 4,000 career points.
Key Matchup: John Wall vs. Derrick Rose - Another star-studded matchup at the point guard spot tonight as John Wall goes head-to-head with the reigning league MVP. A lot of experts have drawn many comparisons between these two point guards and think Wall will grow into what Derrick Rose has become. They are two of the fastest and most explosive point guards in the game today and watching them go at it later tonight will certainly be worth the price of admission.

Tonight's game is the second of four meetings between the Washington Wizards and Charlotte Bobcats. The two teams will meet again on April 9th in Charlotte and April 23rd in Washington.
Last game versus Houston...The Wizards fell to the Houston Rockets, 103-76, last night at Toyota Center in Houston...John Wall led the Wizards with 17 points, eight rebounds and six assists...Nick Young scored 15 points...JaVale McGee scored nine points, grabbed 11 rebounds and blocked four shots...Chase Budinger led the Rockets with 21 points.
Last time versus Charlotte...The Wizards won their first game under new head Coach Randy Wittman, 92-75, over the Charlotte Bobcats on January 25th at Verizon Center...Nick Young led all scorers with 20 points...Andray Blatche tallied 17 points, 10 rebounds and four assists... John Wall had 12 points, six rebounds, four assists and two blocks.
The Wizards held the Bobcats to opponent lows in points (75), points in a quarter (11 in the 2nd), points in a half (28 in the first), assists (13) and three-pointers made (1).
The Wizards held the Bobcats to 49 points through three quarters (1/25). The last time the Wizards held an opponent to 49 points or fewer through three quarters was January 4, 2008. The Wizards held Milwaukee to 49 points through three quarters in a 101-77, victory over the Bucks in Milwaukee.
John Wall is currently the only player in the NBA that is averaging at least 16.0 points, 7.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per game this season.
Andray Blatche will appear in his 400th career game tonight and is eight points shy of 4,000 career points.
Key Matchup: Nick Young vs. Gerald Henderson - One of the keys to tonight's game will be the scoring ability of the two shooting guards, Nick Young and Gerald Henderson. Henderson was held out of Wednesday's clash due to an ankle injury, but he was back in the Bobcats lineup last night and is expected to play tonight. These are the two go-to scorers for each team and their ability to put points on the board could be the determining factor in the outcome of tonight's game. While Young is more of a perimeter shooter, Henderson thrives more in the mid-range game and getting to the rim. Their contrasting styles will be on display when the two teams take the court tonight.

Game Preview: Wizards vs. Rockets

Tonight's game is the second and final meeting of the season between the Washington Wizards and Houston Rockets. The Rockets won the first meeting, 114-106, in Washington on January 16th.
John Wall is currently the only player in the NBA that is averaging at least 16.0 points, 7.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per game this season.
Jordan Crawford is averaging 14.3 points, 2.9 assists, 2.6 rebounds and in his last seven games.
Andray Blatche is 10 points shy of 4,000 career points.
Key Matchups:
John Wall vs. Kyle Lowry...John Wall had a career-high 38 points the last time these two teams met and in his short career has made it a habit to terrorize the Rockets. Last season, he notched his first career triple-double against this team and he will get another chance to fill up the stat sheet tonight in Houston. Opposing Wall is one of the most up and coming point guards in the game today in Kyle Lowry. He may not have the same recognition as some of the premiere point guards, but if you look at Lowry's numbers (15.9ppg, 6.9ppg, 8.8ppg) he can be compared to any point guard in this league. Whichever point guard is able to manage the game more efficiently tonight is likely to come out victorious.
Nick Young vs. Kevin Martin...
Nick Young has scored in double figures in each of his past eight games and is coming off a 20 point performance in which he led the Wizards in scoring. The Wizards will need plenty of scoring from Young tonight as his counterpart, Kevin Martin, has scored at least 25 points over the past four games and has eclipsed 30 points in two of those contests. Young will need to be working hard on both ends of the court and limiting Martin may be just as important as scoring tonight which will be one of the keys to the Wizards success.
